The Android app that is going to be released soon will work only with SCATT MX-W2, since this is the only SCATT model with a built-in Wi-Fi module. SCATT Basic or pretty much any other SCATT apart from MX-W2 won't be compatible. When can we use Scatt Basic with Android devices ¿
Hello David,Would you maybe design a USB/Wi-Fi interface such that all sensor models (or at least camera based, including the Basic as asked by @Kumkuat46) would be compatible with the upcoming Android app or more generally smartphone apps?
Alright, but what is going to power a wired sensor (Basic/MX-02) in this case?an additional small component connected to older sensors by their USB interface, that would transmit the data as a WiFi access point
I get what you are saying, Sir! We'll continue looking into possible optionsI see... Then that would have to be this additional hardware piece which you would recharge like the MX-W2. That's making it quite an additional product. But are all BASIC / MX-02 users going to pay the price of the MX-W2 just to use the Android software?
Yep! If everything goes according to our roadmap, it's going to be SeptemberDidn't you mention September in some forum message? That's pretty soon now
