dear Scatt Users and Experts,
i have my Basic for about two weeks now and i´m satisfied so far, but i also do have some questions about it.
The first thing is if one of you have some experience about different results on different computers regarding the CPU power?
Means, i have a Surface Pro 3 tablet with dual core i5 and a Notebook with quad core i7 and i want to know if the faster CPU results in better tracing lines and shots, or did the CPU power did not change the calculations?
With my Tablet i have sometimes the impression that the shot itself is a little bit later in the traceline than i think about it while aiming and pressing the trigger.
Maybe this only a "feeling".
Do you others also think that it needs a timeshift option for the shots? i know this option from other systems, and i think it is very helpfull

I have noticed on my underpowered laptop the trace is more jagged while on battery power (ie reduced CPU).

Thing is, all the data regarding the shot is already recorded within the sensor when you pull the trigger.
Although a less powerful PC/tablet may lag behind when it comes to instantly pulling up the trace, you still get all the aimpoint movements down to a T when you double-click the shot and replay it in saved practice sessions. In other words, the only thing a weaker CPU could affect is your mood during the practice, as you grow more irritated at the machine struggling with the trace in real time. But you are for sure not losing anything in regards to data or how accurate the trajectory is. Hope this makes sense :)

thanks Peter for this detailed information.
If i understand it in the right way, on slow pc one only have more jagged lines, but in the database the lines are stored with all details like on a faster pc.
So for later observations the details are same.

Hello,
I have scatt basic for 15 days and on my surface pro 5.
I am convinced that there is a real problem of impact.
And with another computer it disappeared.
