Hello!
We do indeed plan to develop and manufacture a new generation of trigger sensors designed for MX-W2.
However, these trigger sensors most likely won't be compatible with the vast majority of circulating MX-W2 trainers (hardware version 2) manufactured and sold prior to ~Fall 2020. On top of that, we would still need to roll out fresh trigger sensor UI and implement it in Expert software - both desktop and mobile
Long story short, all this shall take considerable time and since trigger sensors is a very niche tool that only a small fraction of our userbase seeks - it's kind of put on the back burner in the grand scheme of things.
For anyone thinking about buying SCATT MX-W2 right now and who would like to use it with a trigger sensor in the future, I highly recommend double-checking with your local dealer that the MX-W2 you'd be getting comes with hardware version 3.
Hardware version 3 devices shall eventually become trigger sensor compatible. Also, as a rule of thumb - hardware version 3 shall be pretty much all the devices manufactured and sold starting from 2021
