I don't use a paper target with lights, I use an ipad. You can too. Just make an image, in mspaint or any simple graphics tool, just make the background sort of an off-white colour (or whatever shade you want), and make the black dot the correct size for your discipline and distance.
To get the size of the black dot, use the scatt utility to print out the target to correct scale for your distance, and measure the diameter of the paper dot with a ruler, then make your image in mspaint (or whatever tool), and make it exactly the same size as the printed target (measure the dot on the ipad screen to confirm it matches the size of the paper dot). Go full-screen on the tablet, mount it, and voila. No lighting issues with scatt, ever again. And you have backlighting just like a real electronic target.
