Just don't try live firing!I just tried this and it works like a charm. I put up a mirror and suddenly i'm the proud owner of a 10 meter range
(ipad for a target).
It is 4 meters from where i stand to the mirror, my usual training distance.

... then 6 meters from the mirror to the wall with the ipad target behind me.

The rule of thumb here is to avoid using Infra-Red models together with mirrors, as that may (and most likely will) get you skewed results due to how reflections mess with the signal. IronSight's trick is viable only for camera-based modelsThis worked fine, however you have to be aware that any small inaccuracy in the placement of the rifle, can result in an increase in the error recorded by the SCATT USB target frame and sensor. It may work better with the MX-02. Not had time to try it out, yet.
test set up. I'm going to cut the mirror down for weight reduction, its 1/4 think glass. lady at the glass place said the thicker the glass, the less distortion. i have a goose neck salvaged off a lamp, bolted to a aluminum angle, which i plan on gluing to the mirror. which takes a special glue, so it does not show through. then i will be able to adjust the mirror an inch or two behind the scatt frame to show the target beside me to the rear. My next step is to take a picture of a real target at the range, adjust the size on the lap top, and replace the paper target with a actual picture of a range target. Hope to get some background also to make it more realistic. Then i'll test to see how it works with the scatt.I just tried this and it works like a charm.
